A new YouGov/Economist poll asking Americans about the likelihood of various “dire political scenarios” found that half the country think that within ten years the US will no longer be a global superpower and there will be a “total economic collapse.”
From YouGov:
Among 15 potential future scenarios involving instability or political violence, the one that most Americans consider likely in the next decade is that the U.S. ceases to be a global superpower (50% say this), followed by a total collapse of the U.S. economy (47%). Each of the 15 dire scenarios is considered somewhat or very likely in the next decade by at least 20% of Americans.
[…] 37% of Americans say [a civil war] is at least somewhat likely to occur.

After an end to the U.S.’s global-superpower status and economic collapse, the next most likely scenario is that the U.S. will cease to be a democracy (39% say this is likely within the next decade). Slightly more say it’s likely the U.S. will become a fascist dictatorship (31%) than say it will become a communist dictatorship (21%). (The poll didn’t ask whether people believe a given scenario has already occurred, so some people who believe this probably are included among those who said each scenario is likely.)
Republicans are more likely than Democrats to believe nearly all of the scenarios asked about are likely within the next 10 years. Two-thirds of Republicans (65%) believe that total economic collapse is at least somewhat likely, compared to only 38% of Democrats. Around half of Republicans (48%) say it’s likely that the government will confiscate citizens’ firearms; only 17% of Democrats say this. Republicans are also more likely than Democrats to believe there will be a total breakdown of law and order (49% vs. 31%) and that the U.S. will be invaded by a foreign country (41% vs. 24%).

Then perhaps they should spend some time outside the US. Countries like China, Ukraine and Russia for starters. And be given a real impartial world history lesson of say the past 300 years.
I’m one of the not of this current generation. I’m watching corrupt politics, unlimited financial power in the hands of a few and evil beyond imagination destroying the most powerful country on earth.
They have to destroy the US. Their plans for world domination and mass murder can’t succeed. America stands in their way.
Education has been erased from the schools. Replaced by indoctrination. I see how changed kids are. They come out of school with no education. No pointing fingers. Waste of time.
Start now. Take your kids back. Teach them.
Your job keeps a roof over your head and food on the table. Necessities.
Your kids are important They are the future. All the technology and garbage to distract has worked way too well. On us and our children. It has to stop. Now. Or there will be no future for humanity.
There will be no us.
And that’s the plan.
I want my children to live.

“half the country think that within ten years the US will no longer be a global superpower and there will be a “total economic collapse.”
“Within ten years??!!” It’s collapsing now! Crime is off the chain since homelessness is off the chain. It has been announced that in Seattle, almost half the police have quit due to rampant, out-of-control crime. Stores are closing, left and right due to, AGAIN, rampant, out-of-control crime. When people have nothing left to lose, everybody loses. Starbucks, Walgreens, CVS and a host of other stores and businesses have shuttered their doors in numerous cities like Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles and others because they would have to pay security guards to keep the crime down and also lock up their merchandise. There has been a three day nurse strike in Minnesota of 15,000 nurses who are complaining about their pay and the lack of patient care. The commercial rail network is about to shut down due to a massive union strike that is already disrupting shipments and affecting passenger trains. So the U.S. is already on the brink of a serious showdown of the most ugly kind. It is imminent and is not going to take approximately 10 years to occur. It’s happening now.

I think you’re right, Shelby. It will definitely be sooner than 10 years. Some analysts are predicting the election in November will be the last US election.

I hope they are right. And the very last thing that I will be doing in November is voting since there is absolutely nothing to vote for. If we could vote them all OUT, I’d be at the polls with bells on. That’s the only thing that would get me to show up at the polls in November; the only thing.
