July 1st 1867: Canada’s National Sovereignty: America’s Plan to Annex and Invade Canada

The latest US plan to invade Canada was approved by the US War Department under the presidency of Herbert Hoover in 1930. It was updated in 1934 and 1935 during the presidency of Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was withdrawn in 1939 (but not abolished) following the outbreak of the Second World War.

“O Canada our home and native land … “

The sovereignty of Canada is precarious. Our government has been coopted by Washington.

Among the millions of Canadians celebrating the 154th anniversary of the signing of the British North American Act(July 1st 1867)how many areactually aware that our Southern neighbour, the United States of America had formulated in 1924 a carefully designed plan to invade Canada and bomb Montreal, Quebec City, Halifax and Vancouver.

War Plan Red wasofficiallyapproved by the US War Department in May 1930.

The 1928 draft stated that “it should be made quite clear to Canada that in a war she would suffer grievously”.
