My impression, Sha’Tara is that the current British parliament is totally paralyzed because all the energy of their minority government (and media) is taken up with the impasse over the Brexit debate. This leaves the corporate oligarchy totally free to run the country as they please.

As bad as it is in UK, it is worse in murica. Gym classes at charter schools, held in parking lots. Teachers buying materials and books, for classes. Working 60 hours a week for slave wages. Homeless children picked up at tent cities. Rural homeless children, living in cars with their parents. Kids going to school sick amd starving. School shootings.

I’m sure it’s worse in the US, teri. The US has never had the kind of welfare “safety net” they have (and are losing) in the UK and New Zealand.
