Although the article first appeared in ‘Time’ two years ago, nothing has changed as we can ALL see. Hell! Even defeated republican candidate, Roy Moore, stated that “The last time America was great was during slavery.” That is the opinion of too many in this country and explains why so many descendants of slaves are doing so poorly. This explains why we will never see reparations and what is so despicable is the fact that not a one of those racist assholes can explain to us why it is our fault that we are here. That significant detail seems lost to all who think slavery was so great and that descendants of slaves should be grateful to be in Amerikkka. I can write no more because rage is making me see red and now I am quite speechless with rage!
My primary reaction to rubbish like this, Shelby, is visceral – ie nausea. I suspect it’s intimately related to my digestive problems. These are Stone Age beliefs being promoted here – that some human being are biologically superior to others. I hate to say it but in my view, the Abrahamic religions bear major responsibility. Most people don’t pay much attention to the Old Testament, but as a teenager I used to be a Biblical scholar. The Old Testament (which dates back to the Stone Age) is full of this kind of crap. Why people continue to revere these archaic religions is beyond me.
