Switzerland forces McDonald to unveil used additives in Europe – Here is the list

Despite more restrictive European regulations, just look at the list of toxic products used in McDonald’s in Switzerland:

Polydimethylsiloxane (E900) – The E900 is an additive whose toxicity is been demonstrated and which resulted in an ADI (authorized daily dose). Prolonged intake causes hypersensitive reactions, immediate or delayed, allergies and is carcinogenic due to potential residues of formaldehyde and asbestos. There is a risk of liver and kidney problems and problems with the nervous system.Pure polydimethylsiloxane, as a chemical substance, corrodes numerous metals, irritates the skin, eyes and respiratory tract. If swallowed it causes nausea, diarrhea and vomiting.

Titanium dioxide (E171) – Although this additive is commonly used in food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, the non-hazardous titanium dioxide is increasingly debated. The product is classified as a carcinogen (group 2B) at the International Center for Cancer Research (CIRC) and genotoxic effects have been demonstrated. The possible manufacture of titanium dioxide in the form of nanoparticles complicates its treatment by the body, with risk of accumulation. The final product contains residues at risk: aluminum oxide and / or silicon dioxide (≤ 2%), soluble materials in HCl (≤ 0.5% / 1.5%), water-soluble materials (≤ 0.5%), traces of heavy metals, lead, cadmium antimoniom, arsenic and mercury.

Ester glycerol, diacetyltartric acid, fatty acids (E472e) All chemicals that combat digestion and the action of digestive juices . Studies of the elements of the family of glycerides carried out on animals have shown a growth block, increase in the volume of the liver and kidneys, poor assimilation of essential fatty acids, reduction of the size of the testes, problems with the uterus.

Bright blue (E133) – Like most dyes, E133 is suspected of causing hyperactivity in children. Some tests on mice allowed to observe the appearance of localized sarcomas. May cause or amplify urticaria, asthma, cutaneous and respiratory symptoms, exceptionally anaphylaxis. It is a neurotoxic potential, it can block mitocodrial respiration, cause gastro-intestinal symptoms. The pure substance is classified Xn (harmful and R33 (risk of cumulative effects).

E330 / E331 (citric acid and trisodium citrate) – can cause skin blemishes and kidney problems.

E450 / E452 (polyphosphates) – high concentrations can affect intestinal absorption.E211 (sodium benzoate) – allergenic and carcinogenic.

E338 (orthophosphoric acid) – causes digestive problems and depletes calcium.

E339 / E341 (sodium phosphate and calcium phosphate) – cause digestive problems.

E422 (glycerol) – causes excessive thirst, nausea and high blood pressure.E620( monosodium glutamate) – causes allergies and the typical headache and feeling of nausea that can occur after eating at McDonald’s. . .

  1. Dr. Bramhall, it is even worse than previously thought here. I mean, we already knew that McDonald’s had awful food that wouldn’t even spoil, but have you kept up with news from the states lately? There has been recall after recall over everything from romaine lettuce to cut up fruit to cereal to eggs and turkey products, Swiss cake rolls, Ritz crackers, boxed pasta salad and so it begs the question, who the fuck is looking out for US? What are the agencies doing that are supposed to catch this mess before it gets to recall stage? I have never seen so many recalls in such a short amount of time. It is quite scary on top of the fact of what we already know about food from joints like McDonald’s.
