Cancer is now being understood as epigenetic dysfunction, a direct adaptive response to the post-industrial, carcinogen-saturated environment, in addition to a diet of faux, mostly chemically-produced ‘food,’ combining to produce an environment in the body which is ideal for cancer promotion. The Journal of Food and Chemical Toxicity explores the possibility of curing cancer by reversing various epigenetic factors, such as diet and lifestyle.
