Thanks to the nearly four-decade investigation by human rights lawyer William Pepper, it is now clear once and for all that Martin Luther King was murdered in a conspiracy that was instigated by then FBI director J. Like Pepper, the King family came to believe that Ray was indeed a patsy. The FBI had MLK on 24/7/365 fixed and mobile surveillance. They mailed him a tape of himself with a prostitute along with a bullet, hoping for a clean suicide. This was COINTELPRO at its ugliest. With the shifting political winds, Trump and any alternative candidates to the mainstream in Europe need to be careful. The same dirty tricks will re-emerge (remember the death threats against OWS that were leaked to the press). The Gladio network that derailed socialism in Italy and Greece can be re-directed against Le Pen, and, other enemies of the established order.

I was really impressed with the civil trial the family brought in 1999 in which a jury ruled the US government have killed him. In my view, neither Gladio nor Cointelpro ever disbanded. They’ve continued to quietly assassinate people who threaten the existing power structure.
