Brazil is now going through political turmoil, protests and strikes since the conspiratorial ouster of elected president Dilma Rousseff. Strikes, protest marches and demonstrations are now daily incidents in the country.
Brazilian police arrested Eduardo Cunha, the controversial former head of the lower house of congress and chief architect behind the impeachment of Rousseff, in Brasilia Wednesday.
Federal Judge Sergio Moro, who authorized the arrest, also issued a warrant for Cunha’s home in Rio de Janeiro to be searched.
