    • Strange indeed, sojourner. I suspect the 4 tech companies have been getting a lot of pressure from their politically savvy customers who object to being spied on. I have no idea what motives Fox News might have – except maybe for publicity. As the average age of Fox viewers steadily creeps up (it’s at 69 presently), they face a steady die-off of their audience.

      • On the subject of Fox News, did you see they canned Greta V the other day. So I guess you’re right, there seems to be a shake up going on at Murdock’s insane asylum! Average age of 69. Maybe, after our generation has died off, the x, y and millennials will be able to change things for the better?

    • Tiffany, I think the current Google management is extremely opportunistic. They don’t spy on people out of conviction – they do it for money. They’re prostitutes, in other words. They will do anything if the price is high enough.
