Well at least its not as lethal as US Armies School of Americas in Panama where they taught best way to conduct kidnappings and assassinations or the modern day comic book ISIS video on beheadings.it all amounts’ to same thing terrorize the population into submission.

I find it a little concerning that so many people support an overt military coup. The US is already an undeclared military-police state. Are these people saying they like to be stopped at police checkpoints?
I tend to be quite skeptical of polls like this without a clear explanation of the methodology. Most are done by ringing the landline phones of registered voters. This leaves out about half the population – either because they don’t vote or because they have cellphone only households.

This reminds me of my freshman year in college, 1968. I was struggling with English composition (imagine that), and so I had a conference with my “radicalized” TA.
I sat down in his office, as he basically ignored me, and as I looked around, above his desk was a diagram of how to make a Molotov cocktail.
At this time, I was as naive and pure as the driven snow, and only beginning to awaken to the evils of this government. Needless to say, I was intimidated by this TA and his diagram. And this less than relaxed state of mind would lead to my less than excellent grade at the end of the quarter.
Now I look back, and I can empathize with my TA, I must have come off like a complete idiot at the time!
Not much different than now, right?;-)

The only thing I learned from my freshman English TA was that I was unlikely to find a husband if I completed medical school. His theory was that men married beneath them because they were too threatened by women who equaled them in intelligence. In his view, female doctors were out of luck because they couldn’t find men to look down on them.

I THINK EACH PERSON AND/OR COUPLE ARE INDIVIDUAL CASES. THE ROOT REASON THAT A PERSON FEELS THREATEN OR NEEDS SOMEONE TO LOOK DOWN ON IN A RELATIONSHIP, IS THAT WE CONSIDER THE OTHER PERSON AS OUR PROPERTY, CERTAINLY THEY ARE OUR RESPONSIBILITY, BUT DEFINITELY NOT OUR PROPERTY. I OFTEN TELL MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER, HE DOES NOT BELONG TO ME, HE BELONGS TO THE HEAVENLY FATHER YAHVEH, AND YAHVEH SO FAR LOANED HIM OUT TO ME SO FAR FOR SEVENTEEN YEARS, IN THE CAPACITY OF BEING A COUPLE. YES, HE IS A LOAN FROM THE HEAVENLY FATHER, I FOR ONE DID NOT CREATE HIS SOUL. WE SHOULD ALL VALUE AND TREASURE EACH OTHER, FOR WE NEVER KNOW WHEN WE ARE CALLED TO COME BACK HOME. DO THE VERY BEST YOU CAN TO MAKE THE LAST MOMENT WITHOUT REGRET, GIVE THEM SOMETHING MEMORIAL AS A SOUVENIR AS THEY MAKE THEIR JOURNEY BACK TO THEIR DOORSTEP OF THEIR ORIGIN AND A MUCH HIGHER ACADEMICS. I SURE HOPE I AM THE ONE THAT TAKES THIS JOURNEY BACK HOME FIRST, IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO SEE HIM LEAVE FROM A VACATION VISIT FROM ME.

Think how much money the CIA squandered on this nefarious effort. Speaking from experience, most any 14-year-old growing up, as I did, in the 1970s, knew how to make a Molotov cocktail and use it to dispatch numerous imaginary foes (Nazis, Soviets, etc.) amid the Colorado backcountry.

I grew up in the fifties. Sadly this was one skill I never learned.
