I suspect people will have to wait another 50 years for this to happen in the US.

I suppose to enable dentists to who haven’t been trained in composite resin fillings to get comfortable with the new technology. The dentist who put in my first composite resin fillings 20 years ago really botched the job and they all had to be redone.
