Johan Galtung, a Nobel Peace Prize-nominated sociologist who predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union, warned that US global power will collapse under the Donald Trump administration.

The Norwegian professor at the University of Hawaii and Transcend Peace University is recognized as the ‘founding father’ of peace and conflict studies as a scientific discipline. He has made numerous accurate predictions of major world events, most notably the collapse of the Soviet Empire.

  2. Whether it’s the U.S. demise or a big financial crash, it has been brewing for a long time and cannot be said to be caused by Trump. But everyone will blame him, anyway. (I’m grateful Bernie Sanders won’t be in the hot seat!)

    • Me too. I’m glad Bernie won’t be blamed for the inevitable cataclysm. It seems there’s nothing Trump can do by tinkering around the edges – Bush and Obama have already tried everything. The only way he can save the US from disaster is through major reform – such as banning private banks from creating money and restoring this power to the US Treasury as Lincoln did. I don’t even think Trump has the balls for such a major challenge to Wall Street. Thanks for commenting.
