Many believe that conscious awareness originates in the brain alone. Recent scientific research suggests that consciousness actually emerges from the brain and body acting together. A growing body of evidence suggests the heart plays a major role in this.

Research in the new discipline of neurocardiology shows that the heart is a sensory organ and a sophisticated center for receiving and processing information. The nervous system within the heart (or “heart brain”) enables it to learn, remember, and make functional decisions independent of the brain’s cerebral cortex. Moreover, numerous experiments have demonstrated that the signals the heart continuously sends to the brain influence the function of higher brain centers involved in perception, cognition, and emotional processing.

I am tired of having to prove everything scientifically. What happened to intuition!. If one were to ask a scientist to prove the existence of love scientifically they couldn’t do it. Yet these very scientists are married and love their family. You can’t make babies without love. The politically correct ways are driving me crazy. If I was the king of the world…I could fix the economy in an hour and give freedom to all peoples of the world. A heart surgeon at the North Shore Hospital in Sydney once said “out of all the heart surgeries I have performed on people, most people ate well, didn’t smoke or drink and exercised”…he went on to say “it seems that these people that died of heart attacks closed their hearts off to love”….cheers. https://amaezed.wordpress.com/love/

  3. What I am sick of is the notion that the only way to “prove” anything scientifically is through randomized controlled studies – mainly because they’re so easy to rig to prove anything you want them to.
